I'm going to give the 5 Pushups, 3 Pullups a go, would be interested to see how many I can get out in 15 minutes. I get the feeling it's going to be a very long 15 mintues!

And I like the idea of going sideways off the bench and making a bridge to do the pullover, rather than lying lengthways...

@ Liam: You will be surprised at how quickly the 15 minutes will go actually. Will be hard work though and you will feel some crazy soreness the next day :-)
As for the pullovers sideways over the bench is far better as it really works the core hard and gets a good full body workout....

Solid suggestions Chris.

I too enjoy the pullover movement in my chest routine. However, I use a barbell to feel more of a stretch in my rib cage and abdominal area.

I don't bend my elbows as much either which makes my lats feel more engaged.

Mike

@ Mike: good tip next time I will try a barbell and see how it feels. Have been doing it with a single dumbbell for a while now.

Sometimes less is more. For beginners this is a great vacation because it's not intimidating or for those on vacation that don't have a wide range of fitness equipment selection or none at all. Great Post!

Nice tips. Particularly since I'm sitting in a hotel room right now, with no access to a gym.

I did a similar one yesterday: 25 air squats, 25 DB swings (no KBs), 20 push ups, 10 inverted rows, 20 jack knives. 3 sets of these, followed by burpee ladders (1 to 10). Thanks for your posts, most of which I silently enjoy!
