		<description>I find with getting rid of sugar from one&#039;s diet, it&#039;ll be mighty hard at first, but you&#039;ll get to the point where you&#039;re finally normalised and suddenly you won&#039;t need sugar to make food appetizing (well, you don&#039;t suddenly come to that point - but you know what I mean).

I think it&#039;s near impossible to completely eliminate sugar.  Are you going to refuse eating a birthday cake someone baked for you?  For me, the goal was to get to the point where I don&#039;t need sugar.  I&#039;m close...</description>

Just wanted to add:

Be careful snacking on dried fruits. These go down very easily &amp; may add up very quickly. Many of them have high GI. 

Also watch out for dried fruits &amp; berries that may be soaked in high fructose corn syrup. Read the labels or bins(Craisins &amp; blueberries come to mind). Breaks my heart when I see these already delicious berries soaked in that stuff :(

&lt;strong&gt;@PNW Fitness: Great advice. I hardly ever eat dried fruits. occasionally I throw a handful of raisins on a salad or have a few dried prunes but I try to limit the stuff. Much prefer fresh juicy fruit anyway....&lt;/strong&gt;</description>
