This is a great post. I like that it not only incorporates healthy eating and exercise but also the mental aspect of a healthy lifestyle. I take the same approach on my blog www.runeatgrow.blogspot.com. Another good way to fit in strength moves into a busy lifestyle is to do reps during the commercials of your favorite show.

@ Erika: Thanks for the comments your blog is very cool. I especially liked the article on meditation.......Integrating a healthy lifestyle with work and life is pretty difficult at first as its hard to strike the balance but once you get there the pay off is great! Thanks for stopping by....

This is a great list. I couldn't agree with you more on the sprints. I actually just wrote a post on my new blog as to why I think sprints are so effective. I also liked the fact that you mentioned the mind. The mental and physical are connected. One cannot be healthy without the other.

As you've pointed out here, Chris, staying healthy and fit while juggling career and family demands is not nearly as daunting a task as it may first seem. In fact, a properly undertaken health and fitness program will give one more energy to attack the other important aspects of one's life.

Good post. It can be very difficult to fit workouts and healthy eating in to a busy routine but if you want it bad enough it's possible. One thing I must say is that it is possible to get proper, quality workouts using bodyweight training. They don't have to be limited to quick 5-10 minute sessions that get you going in the morning.
